The staff was friendly. They couldn't do enough! the meals were so delicious, the nighttime one superb, and the breakfast beautiful. the ladies serving breakfast. I loved the comfy bed, too!
my room was right above the bar. it didn't close until 1 am, and the bass was thumping till midnight. i also heard every person who stepped out for a smoke.

i found the staff friendly and always ready to assist. the food service was quick and efficient. the beds were really comfortable, and the rooms had plenty of space.
the street noise was slightly noticeable at night.

The staff were very helpful with directions and local information. The breakfast offered a decent variety of options. It was also served promptly. I appreciated the historical references to JM Barrie. They added a nice touch to the hotel. The central location made exploring very easy!
The noise from the street was noticeable at NIGHT. I did have trouble sleeping.

A FAB stay!

The staff WAS lovely. my room felt very comfortable and was ENORMOUS. i enjoyed the off street parking. It felt SAFE. breakfast was nice too, even if it came out a bit dry. i'd go BACK.
the room, situated directly OVER the bar, was a bit noisy when the bar stayed open until 1 am. there was a thump sound through the floor until midnight. the noise from people outside taking smoke was also disturbing.

My room had a welcome heater and a heated towel rail. the evening meals were good. i enjoyed the subtle jm barrie theme in the hotel. It felt tender.

the staff were really helpful. the meal was good. our breakfast was good too. i think i will be back.
our room was right above the bar. the bar didn't close until 1 am. they were nipping out for a smoke from the bar as the windows didn't seem to block out any noise.
