Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service

The room was beautifully decorated and included all necessary amenities. The warm shower was especially lovely! I appreciated the chatty and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious, and the evening meal was also very good. I also found parking was close, just across the street, a short walk from the hotel.
I noticed the room was not ready when I arrived. This caused some initial inconvenience. This issue was resolved quickly with very little fuss.

adequate stay but some issues

helpful staffnoisy locationmissing conditioner
The breakfast was good. The chef and staff were very helpful.
The location proved noisy because of its position on the high street. it was compounded by quiz nights and music events taking place right below my room. the room description mentioned conditioner, but it was missing. That was inconvenient..

The room was not properly prepared upon my arrival. The receptionist seemed rather indifferent about this. I also noticed a distinct dog odor in both the stairwell and the pub area. The nightly rate of £120 struck me as somewhat excessive considering these issues.
