The location was fine for what I needed, it really was.

The hotel looked tired. The bedroom, while clean, was drab and needed new wallpaper. cobwebs on the ceiling were not a good look.

The staff welcomed me early. It was very helpful. the room had good tea and coffee options. the bedding and shower curtain seemed clean. the hotel provides off-road parking at the rear, this is a great plus.

the hotel is within walking distance of central headingley. buses to the city centre run nearby. yorkshire cricket ground is only a short walk, less than five minutes away from the hotel.

a mixed bag is what i got

moldy ceiling inoperable tv

honestly, the place felt a bit neglected. the bathroom ceiling had this strange mold situation plus tape held it all together. cobwebs were chilling everywhere, the tv didn't even turn on, and my key barely worked i guess

good location room chair english breakfast reasonable price

location suited my needs. i appreciated the chair and desk in my room, ideal for working. the provided breakfast was good, a full english option was available for a small charge. the room rate seemed like a reasonable value.

The staircase to the top floor felt quite steep. It could be difficult for older guests.
