the staff was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. the rooms were clean and spacious and included unlimited tea, coffee, and biscuits. the beds were comfortable (i slept like a baby) and the showers had good hot water.

The evening menu had limited choices. This made dining slightly difficult one night.

my room faced two pubs and they were noisy. i was woken up by the drayman delivering early in the morning. the receptionist said they had this complaint before.

The staff welcomed us warmly, and they provided our room early. The parking voucher was very useful, as parking can be difficult. Breakfast offered a great selection, and it was freshly cooked. I had a really convenient and quiet room.

The room was quite cold. The radiator may need attention, and condensation was due to the secondary double glazing.
