Browns Hotel, 200 yards from the waterfront, offers nine individually designed en-suite double rooms. All rooms have seating areas, flat-screen TVs, and Wi-Fi. Rooms include power showers and designer lighting. The Blue Room on the second floor features a superking bed, sitting area, sofa, and rooftop views. Its bathroom includes limestone tiling, double wash basins, a separate WC, a rain shower, and a standalone bath. Some rooms have sofas; others have comfortable chairs. Rooms are dog friendly, charges apply.
Dining at Browns
Browns offers a bistro restaurant and bar. Breakfast includes squeezed orange juice, apple juice, fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, organic muesli, bakery breads, marmalade, jams, and honey; gluten-free options are available. Guests enjoy breakfast cooked to order. The menu includes loose-leaf teas and cafetiere coffee. Options include a cooked breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, and grilled tomato, or a veggie breakfast with veggie sausages & beans. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or porridge are also available. The bar serves food until 18:00 on weekdays, and in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar's menu includes Salt and Pepper Squid, Cider and honey glazed Chorizo, and Moroccan Cauliflower Bites. Main courses range from Fish Goujons and Chicken Tagine to Venison Loin and Pumpkin and Ricotta Tortellini. Dessert includes Chocolate Brownie, Vegan Brownie, Orange and Pecan Polenta Cake, and Affogato. A West Country Cheese Plate is also available. Enjoy eating and drinking in any of the three open-plan ground floor rooms.

Browns' bar is open daily for coffee, wine, cocktails, beer, and snacks. Local artwork is displayed. The hotel hosts events such as live music. The Annika Skoogh Quartet performs jazz. The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta offers family fun.
Location and Transportation
Located in Dartmouth, Browns Hotel is 60 km from Exeter International Airport. The hotel is near the River Dart and the South Hams coastline. Nearby landmarks include Dartmouth Museum (0.3 km), Bayard's Cove Fort (0.5 km), and Dartmouth Castle (1.5 km). Other attractions include Royal Avenue Gardens (0.3 km), St Saviour's Church (0.5 km), and Thomas Newcomen Engine (0.3 km). All the shops, river boats, bars and restaurants are a stroll away, so no need for taxis or long up hill trudges from our location. Slapton Sands and other local coves and small beaches are dog friendly year-round. Street parking is restricted to 1 or 2 hours, and the town car park has a 4-hour limit during high season. Browns offers parking vouchers for the Mayors Avenue car park, 300m from the hotel (TQ6 9NF), for £8 per day.
