The Mill End Hotel offers 21 individually decorated bedrooms. The newest suite, Wolf, accommodates a family of four and features a balcony overlooking the River Teign and a mezzanine level. Another suite includes a cast iron tub and a separate shower room. The Teign Suite has a bedroom, a sitting room with views of the Devon countryside, access to the garden, and a private deck. The bathroom in the Teign Suite features a shower and underfloor heating. West Okement Junior Suite includes a six-foot bed and views of the gardens. Avon is a Junior Suite that can be arranged with two beds.
Dining at Mill End
The Mill End restaurant features seasonal menus with dishes and offers a classic English menu encompassing modern twists. The Dartmoor restaurant uses fish from Devon's Coastline, vegetables and meat from local farms, and ingredients from Dartmoor. A 3-course dinner is available, or a 2-course dinner including an amuse bouche and breads. Breakfast includes local Devon produce and Chagford free-range eggs. The hotel provides Devon Cream Teas.
Leisure and activities
Guests have access to three lounges with sofas, French furniture, and vintage British pieces, including a gramophone and typewriter. Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre in Princetown features exhibits about the moor's history and geography. The Two Moors Way walk runs from Exmoor to the South Devon coast. The Upper Teign Fishing Association has six miles of fishing for brown trout, sea trout, and salmon, available on a day ticket from the hotel reception.
