The grounds were beautiful with the enclosed pond area. i loved the croquet on the lawn! the bedrooms were tastefully decorated. They are clean and airy. i found them very comfortable.
i have a allergy to feathers. i had to remove bedding. i slept with my dressing gown!

The hotel has a lovely garden on Dartmoor, so it is a great starting point for exploring the area. I explored the area by foot. The breakfast was fabulous. The dinner options at The Blue Tiger were pleasant.
The lounge area in the suite had only two chairs. I found both chairs hard. There was no fridge in the suite, though there were tea and coffee-making facilities.. The cleanliness of the suite was questionable. I found a pair of dirty socks left by a previous guest in the bedroom.

This hotel location at Dartmoor edge makes it a peaceful, quiet place. I could reach the A38 road quickly. A charger for electric vehicles is available. I appreciated the food, good accommodation, and friendly staff.
My suite had only two chairs. They were both hard and uncomfortable. This made relaxing difficult.
