I enjoyed the convenient parking area. Breakfast had good portions and the quality was high. The helpful staff made check-in easy. I appreciated that. I liked the direct access for dog walks up onto the moor.
My room faced a somewhat busy road, and I noticed a bit of noise early in the morning. Double windows could mitigate sound for a quieter stay.

the staff was really friendly, (i think this is the most important thing!) and provided good service. the location allowed easy access to dartmoor for a nice walk.
the breakfast lacked variety. i would have liked a buffet option for juice and cereal. the bedroom felt a bit dreary. (but it served its purpose for just one night).
