convenient parking area high quality helpful staff
I enjoyed the convenient parking area. Breakfast had good portions and the quality was high. The helpful staff made check-in easy. I appreciated that. I liked the direct access for dog walks up onto the moor.
My room faced a somewhat busy road, and I noticed a bit of noise early in the morning. Double windows could mitigate sound for a quieter stay.

the staff was VERY helpful. i liked having gluten free options. the bed gave me a good night's sleep.
the heating facilities werent working. the restaurant was cold, and the room too. so, the heating system need maintenance.

a decent stay
friendly staff good service easy access breakfast variety dreary bedroom
the staff was really friendly, (i think this is the most important thing!) and provided good service. the location allowed easy access to dartmoor for a nice walk.
the breakfast lacked variety. i would have liked a buffet option for juice and cereal. the bedroom felt a bit dreary. (but it served its purpose for just one night).
