the staff displayed friendliness. i found their help quite valuable. the hotel provided free parking, a plus (a real relief!). my room included tea making facilities and complimentary toiletries.
the room was dusty. i noticed thick dust on the extractor fan and mirror edge. glasses in my room also had dust. the kettle had dried yellow liquid and dust on top.

i appreciated the quiet nights. the beds were comfy and clean. breakfast included freshly cooked options. it included a choice of cereals and fruit too.

pleasant stay

the staff were very polite. they were friendly too, and they asked if i needed anything. they did not pester me if i didn't need anything, which i appreciated. the food in the bar was amazing, i especially enjoyed the fish and chips (the batter was perfect!). i found the room to be relaxing after a long day of travel.
the shower took some time to reach an acceptable temperature. i had to wait a few minutes for the water to warm up. the carpets had some stains around the edges of the room (near the walls).

the hotel provided secure storage for bikes, very useful for me (as i enjoy cycling). there is a lovely garden area accessible to all guests. the hotel also welcomes dogs.
