a slightly underwhelming stay

obstructed view tv malfunction

the location near the river was fine for walks.

The room i booked (a "river room") didn't really offer a clear view of the river. Trees obstructed most of it. also, the television malfunctioned frequently. the picture kept cutting out.

the hotel exuded a calming ambience, and the staff were both cute and accommodating , especially one employee named carl. i indulged in a fantastic body massage . there was a good selection of food and drinks.

wifi connectivity proved a bit unreliable , impacting seamless browsing.

the room included air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. the rooms are well maintained and cleaned daily and fresh towels are provided. the room overlooked the river providing scenic views.

friendly staff splendid views riverside location

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in a lovely room, with splendid views over the river. our room, a river room, was clean and compact, a good space. i enjoyed the location right on the river, easy for walks into town, and i definitely want to stay again.

i found , the stairs up to the rooms were very dark, including the entry and the hallways. i nearly tripped a few times on older steps, so more lighting would improve safety.

river location boutique feel delicious food comfortable bed

the location near the river thames was great the hotel had a boutique feel and the staff showed real professionalism and training food at the reception was delicious i also enjoyed a good breakfast. my room overlooked the river it included air conditioning and a comfortable bed.

afternoon drinks in the garden were unavailable because of a wedding it would have been helpful to have been told this before my visit

the bedroom was amazing , comfortable and warm. the staff provided wonderful service with a large smile , i appreciate that. i look forward to a return visit hopefully very soon.

the stairs up to the rooms , the entry , and the hallways were very dark. i kept tripping or almost falling venturing up or down. the fridge in our room actually heated drinks. the fridge was warmer than the temperature of the room.
