the food was acceptable.
materials were left all over, and builders were working. the view was spoiled by stacks of rubbish and half-finished walls. the manager did give me a refund, but it wasn't enough considering the cost.

decent stay with some drawbacks

date changegreat facilitiesincomparable viewwifi connectionbreakfast chargeprice value
the hotel helped me with a change of date request, i was glad they were able to accommodate. i found the facilities were great. the view was incomparable (it was indeed fine).
the wifi connection in the room was not working. the price of 350 pounds for two nights was not justified.

Really good stay with Fine Lake Views

amazing viewfriendly staffclean hotelsmall portions
The room offered an amazing view of the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel was clean. Also it has modern decorations throughout. The outdoor jacuzzi provided a great space to relax overlooking the area.
I found the breakfast to be somewhat lacking. The portion sizes were small.

excellent spalarge tvpoor foodadditional charge
The room had a balcony overlooking the lake. It had a large TV. The bed was comfy and modern. The pool and spa were excellent with great lakeside views.
The continental breakfast included in the cost of the room was very poor. It was not extensive as described. The quality of the food wasn't up to the standard of a four-star hotel. The cooked breakfast had an additional charge.

i was upgraded to a supreme room. it had lovely views. i found getting to the lake from my room perfect since i brought paddle boards. the food was also very good.
lots of building work was ongoing. builders walked around the hotel, they took over the car park. the outdoor part of the spa was closed, this caused disappointment.
