the window in my standard twin room faced an unattractive embankment. it was quite disappointing. a foul odor emanated from the lavatory drain (.. ) i attempted to contact the hotel by phone and email regarding items i left behind, but received no response. this lack of communication is unacceptable.

our room, a superior double room, had a lovely size. a separate shower was in the good spacious bathroom. the breakfast was tasty, and it included a good choice of food. the friendly staff met every need required.
i found the hotel charged for parking, and i thought parking should have been free . it was a slight inconvenience, but the stay was otherwise good.

The room was clean. I liked the location because of its proximity to transport links. Buses were opposite the station, so I could easily travel to nearby towns. The hotel also offers parking for £6 a night, convenient.
