I was met with efficient reception service and a friendly welcome. The grounds were really well-kept, it made for a pleasant morning stroll. I noted some ongoing maintenance at the hotel, this work is appreciated.
The gym had a slightly unpleasant smell. The carpet there didn't feel as hygienic because of that.

i loved the gardens around the hotel they were beautiful and well kept the reception and bar area looked really nice too the room was large and the bed was comfy i got a complimentary upgrade to the garden suite it was very spacious and comfortable
the rooms could use an upgrade even though the friendly staff more than makes up for it

the hotel provides a great location near ecclesall road and the botanical gardens it is not far from the peaks making it ideal for exploration plus free parking is a bonus in the city
