“Oaks Hotel And Leisure Club presents a dichotomy: while the renovated Victorian mansion, set in landscaped gardens, initially charms with its historical appeal, some aspects require a fresh eye. I noted family-friendly elements, like children's menus, and convenient workspaces appeal to business travelers, yet certain rooms and spa facilities seem to fall short of the mark; the inconsistency is hard to ignore.”

The staff was friendly and helpful .
I found some significant issues with the room. The carpets in the passageway were worn, with threadbare sections.. This did not reflect well on the hotel's upkeep. the choice of cereal at breakfast was limited. There was no granola or oat mixture available.
