Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Mitton Hall Hotel is frequently praised for its beautiful hall and gallery, offering spacious and light rooms. Many guests appreciate the nostalgic atmosphere in the dining room, enhanced by the use of local produce in both breakfast and evening meals, including notable dishes like mushroom soup, fish and chips, and ale pie with mash. The Kings Suite provides lovely river views, and some guests have found the coffee during breakfast less than ideal. Dog owners find the location convenient, with good dog walking areas within a hundred yards and a dog-friendly pub, The Aspinall Arms, just a short walk away.

the princess suite was fabulous! the room was generously sized. i loved the decor. the bed was super comfy. the grounds of the hotel were lovely and the period building was utterly charming!!!
mitton hall is a beautiful building, but going in for lunch and a drink is a different matter. the young bar man could only serve soft drinks because he was not old enough. he was already delivering a tray of drinks so he went looking for someone. we left. such a pity because it is a beautiful building.

The luxurious mitton suite featured a spacious ensuite bathroom. A large bathtub for two was a highlight. The bed mattress felt comfortable. The pillows were of the highest quality i have experienced. The dining room gave a nostalgic atmosphere. The menu included local produce for both breakfast and evening meals. The meals were prepared to a high standard.
The staff gave me a grunt. We were not asked what drinks we'd like, a pot of tea and coffee was placed in front of us. Toast was piled up on a plate and dumped on the table. I seemed like we were an inconvenience. Decaf tea arrived in a chipped and cracked teapot
