Beijing Hotel NUO offers 216 rooms, each with individual furnishings, 24-hour room service, and premium bedding. Rooms include laptop-compatible safes and air conditioning. Some units feature a seating area. Guests can request an extra folded bed (1.1 meters wide) to accommodate a third person. Certain rooms overlook the Forbidden City and include a trouser press, a fax machine, and a bathroom with a bathtub and free-standing shower. NUO calls its nicest rooms Heritage Studios with four-poster beds, original fixtures and fittings and views towards Tiananmen Square and the Great Hall of the People. Rooms in the northern annex are larger but more business-like. Ironing facilities, a mini-bar, free toiletries, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV are standard.
Dining Options
Breakfast is served until 10.30am and includes Asian and western favorites with live cooking stations and complimentary glasses of Prosecco. Beijing Hotel's Chinese restaurant offers Huaiyang, Sichuan, Cantonese food and Tan Family cuisine. The JAAN Restaurant presents creative French dishes, Mediterranean fare, and fresh seafood, including imported oysters and hand-dived scallops, along with an extensive wine list. NUO's signature afternoon tea is served in the Writer's Bar with vanilla scones, accompanied by Chinese guzheng performances. Live jazz piano music and cocktails can also be enjoyed at Writer's Bar.
Leisure and Entertainment
Guests can enjoy a treatment in the spa. Facilities include a TV lounge, and a hairdressing salon. Chairman Mao once danced on the polished 1920s wooden dance floor beneath the tables. The Drawing Room on the second floor exudes old-world charm.

It is close to the Forbidden City, Tian An Men Square, and Beihai park. Landmarks nearby include The Chinese Museum of Women and Children (1 km), Tian'anmen (1 km), Beijing Police Museum (0.5 km), Ancient Observatory (2 km), Jingshan Park (2.5 km), and Tiananmen Square (1.5 km). The duck restaurants of Wangfujing are within walking distance.
