Room names are taken from the fields surrounding the hotel, dating back to 1610. The Medieval House connects to the Thatch House by an underground passageway. The Gate House, Moat House, and The Oaks stand beside the old moat. Superior rooms offer a choice of medieval or contemporary decor. Select Sussex rooms include four-poster beds, roll-top baths, twin sinks, open fireplaces, and vaulted ceilings. Climping rooms are located in Oaks and Moats and offer larger accommodations.
