“This hotel's historic charm, dating back to 1542 as the former Posthotel Partenkirchen, makes a statement. I especially like the complimentary sauna with views of Zugspitze Mountain. While some find the service inconsistent, the individually furnished rooms and access to Bavarian cultural experiences provide a solid base for exploring Garmisch-Partenkirchen.”

The Atlas Grand Hotel enjoys a prime location on the historic Ludwigstrasse, offering easy access to the main shopping street and local bus service. Guests often enjoy spacious rooms, many featuring balconies with mountain views, some even boasting views of the Zugspitze; while the traditional decor might be considered a little dark by some, many find it charming. Okay stay but some issues

excellent staffhelpful staffgood bike storagebike storagelovely gardengarden arearinging bellschurch bellsno air conditioningair conditioningnoisy truckstruck noise
The staff was excellent and very efficient. They provided quick responses to all my questions. The hotel offered good bike storage. This was helpful. The garden area was nice.
The room was quite warm. There was no air conditioning. This made sleeping difficult. There were church bells ringing every fifteen minutes. They chimed throughout the night. Many suppliers arrived early in the morning. Their trucks created noise.
