nubbly sheetscramped room

the room was a disappointment. the sheets were completely nubbly. the room felt cramped and dark. it probably hadn't been updated in decades. the restaurant and bar closed early even though it was a saturday. i would rather have paid a little more and stayed at a better hotel nearby.

The parking was convenient and always available without extra charge.

The room felt quite dated, especially the bathroom. Tiles appear cracked and stained and some fixtures reminded me of original from decades ago. I found the bed linens rough, also the noise from nearby rooms kept me awake. The walls felt thin.

the pillows were not comfortable at all i tossed and turned a lot the breakfast was not varied enough i expected more choices the staff seemed overwhelmed and not very friendly i was hoping for a warmer welcome

the location proved acceptable for castle visits.

Think furniture straight out of the seventies. i was also above the restaurant. breakfast preparations woke me up early each morning. Clattering dishes are not the best alarm clock. the hotel style felt outdated, nearly spooky.

The hotel provided complimentary hot drinks each morning. I had dinner in the restaurant. It offered a view of the castle EVERY day. A discount was available in the gift shop.
