excellent stay downtown

convenient location comfortable beds friendly staff
the hotel is near the stadiums. robson street is a short walk away, with many restaurants and coffee shops. the rooms have comfortable beds! staff were friendly and upgraded the room from queen room to double queen room for us, very nice. housekeeping staff were also very kind.
parking was not available, requiring a search for public parking at a late hour.

the hotel has a free coffee service until 11am! a water dispenser is available in the lobby for guest use. there is a nice patio located on the 11th floor for relaxation and city viewing.

kinda noisy and overpriced

loud ac thin walls
the ac was so loud, i swear it was gonna explode. it kept cutting out. plus, the walls are super thin. i could hear everything in the hallway and the room next door. it was hard to get any sleep with all the racket. they need to do something about the soundproofing or the ac units.

The location was excellent, near the stadium. i liked that the main entrance required a key card after 9 pm. this. the hotel offered complimentary lemon water. It was refreshing after a long day.
The room had a slight odor. It was noticeable upon entering. the room decor felt dated. It could use some updating. there was only one chair in the room, another chair would have been useful.

convenient location helpful staff faulty air conditioning missing amenities
the location was convenient. it was close to restaurants and public transport (i found the bus stops particularly useful). the staff were helpful. they quickly addressed my questions about local attractions.
the air conditioning in my room was not working properly. i reported it, but it was not fixed (this was a bit of a letdown). the room lacked basic amenities such as coffee or tea making facilities.

the staff was helpful in assisting with finding parking close to the hotel.
the room i booked had a shared bathroom and i found that to be disappointing. i discovered the "semi-private" bathroom system was unusual. the strangers from the adjacent room were able to hear everything in my room and vice versa.
