The King Beach Avenue rooms face Beach Avenue with limited ocean views in spring and summer and full ocean views in fall and winter. Classic Three Bed Units include two queen beds and a sitting area with a sleeper sofa in one room, and a separate bedroom with a double bed. The English Bay Suite, located on the 8th floor, offers views of English Bay, a master bedroom with a king bed, a living area with a queen-size Murphy bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. Beach Avenue Suites provide views of English Bay and Stanley Park, a queen bed, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Dining Options
Sylvia's Restaurant & Lounge serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the bistro patio or dining room. Brunch, lunch, and early dinner are available in the Bistro, sunny Patio, and ocean view Lounge. The All Day Dining Menu offers traditional favorites and modern cuisine and is available except when the Brunch menu is in effect. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3pm - 6pm with specials on appetizers, beer, and wine. The Cocktail Lounge is open Monday - Sunday: 11:00 am - Midnight. Breakfast is available daily at 7:00 am. Brunch is served Saturdays & Sundays: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Dinner is served daily: 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
Location and Transportation
The Sylvia Hotel is located in Vancouver's West End, next to English Bay Beach and Stanley Park. It is 5 minutes from downtown Vancouver and 10 minutes by car from Robson Street and Rogers Arena. Gastown is nearby for shopping and dining. To reach the hotel from the airport, cross the Oak Street Bridge where Highway 99 becomes Oak Street or cross the Arthur Laing Bridge, take the Granville Street exit, and follow Granville Street over the Granville Street Bridge. From the North, take Highway 99, take the Taylor Way exit, cross the Lions Gate Bridge, and go through Stanley Park. From the East, take Highway 1, take the Hastings Street exit west, and follow Hastings Street until the downtown core.
Leisure and Entertainment
Guests can rent bikes through English Bay Bike Rentals to explore Stanley Park. The English Bay Seawall is near the hotel. The Vancouver Aquatic Centre has an indoor pool with a sauna and whirlpool.

The Sylvia Hotel offers event hosting with ocean views and catering for weddings, special events, and receptions. The Pendrell Room can accommodate up to 25 guests for sit-down occasions and 35 guests for reception-style events. Sylvia's Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Chef can create a menu.
