Decent stay, but some issues

fresh milkdark roomwardrobe rail
The breakfast included fresh milk flasks, a nice touch.
I had a less than stellar experience. The room felt quite dark. The spotlight meant to illuminate the wardrobe was misdirected, pointing towards the ceiling's corner. When I tried to remove a coat hanger, the entire rail detached and fell from the wardrobe.

Excellent Stay and Breakfast

All rooms were clean. Staff are helpful and breakfast was superb. I did book a table for dinner.

Acceptable Stay with Issues

The room was spacious and clean.
The bed was not properly made up. Cups and the bed were left as they were from the previous night! The staff did work to fix the problem and offered a drink at the bar while they sorted it out.

the room was lovely, very roomy and nice and warm. we were offered fresh milk on arrival to take to our room. food was good, i thought.
