check-in was quick , and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. the room was well decorated and equipped , and i had a beautiful double room. i found the location fabulous , with beautiful views , and there was plenty of parking. the bar and restaurant were nice , and i enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.

i noticed that the changing rooms for the pool and spa were not as clean as i expected , and i found some hair on the floor.

i found the hotel very quiet and relaxing, just what i needed. the spa facilities were beautiful and well-kept. i especially loved the pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna! the grounds were lovely, and it was great to walk around the hotel.

the bathroom could use some updating, as the shower over the bath was a little difficult to climb into.

the room was clean and spacious. food was wonderful (i especially liked the desserts) and the three-course dinner was great value. the spa facilities were also lovely. i enjoyed having the ping pong table available.

the room lighting was too bright with bright white led bulbs, not very restful.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. the room was a good size, and breakfast offered ample choice. the location provided a peaceful countryside setting, which i appreciated. The room was generally well kept.

the room's window on the lower floor did not lock properly. it seemed this had been the case for some time because of the dust, it let in a cold wind. it also presented a security issue.

inconvenient outletstaffing failure

The hotel room had only one electrical outlet. It was inconveniently located far from the beds and desk. the dining room's organization was chaotic. Breakfast items ran out quickly. the management was conspicuously absent, there was a failure to adequately staff and plan for contingencies.
