“Staying here can feel like stepping back in time, with the added bonus of modern comforts, though some rooms are a bit timeworn. I noted the on-site museum dedicated to smuggling adds a unique layer to the experience, as do the historical-themed evenings. Families and those travelling with dogs will find plenty to appreciate, though breakfast might require some patience.”

great gift shopfriendly stafflovely breakfastlimited biscuitslong waitovercrowded bar
The gift shop had great items at reasonable prices. the staff was helpful and friendly! breakfast was also lovely. A very good start to the day.
the selection of biscuits and teas in the room dwindled somewhat from previous visits. there was a long wait time to get served at the bar. the bar was overcrowded and very hot, a bit frustrating.
