Superior Accessible rooms, located in the cottage annex, have bi-fold doors. Club Rooms offer king, double, or twin beds. Superior rooms are on the ground floor of the annex with a patio.
Dining at Windermere
The Restaurant at Windermere Manor serves breakfast from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM. The lounge menu is available from noon to 4:00 PM, and dinner is served from 4:00 PM, with last orders at 8:30 PM. A selection of menu items is available 24/7. Afternoon Tea is served in the Drawing Room, Chapel Room, conservatory, or on the Terrace. The menu includes black pudding bon bons, chicken strips, BBQ chicken wings, tomato & basil soup, and prawn cocktail for Starters. Main courses include Cumberland sausage & mash, gammon steak, hand battered cod & chips, red Thai vegetable curry, chicken tikka masala, and salmon with creamy mash. Burgers include cheese & bacon BBQ, BBQ buttermilk chicken, and falafel & spinach. Pizza and pasta options are also available. Kids' meals are also available.
Leisure Facilities
Windermere Manor provides a heated indoor swimming pool open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Guests can get the key from Reception. The hotel grounds include a free run area for dogs. The hillside garden features spots for taking photos within the Walled Garden and the fellside Upper Garden.
Location & Transportation
Windermere Manor is located in the Lake District, near Lake Windermere. The hotel is opposite Hammerbank viewing point. Windermere Railway Station is one mile away. Junction 36 of the M6 is 16 miles from the hotel. The hotel is around 1.5 miles from The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and a few minutes' walk to Lake Windermere. There is a car park and EV charging station onsite.
