Wilmslow Lodge is frequently described as having spotless and spacious rooms that are modern and well-appointed. Many appreciate the comfortable beds and find the location convenient, especially for accessing Manchester Airport, the town centre, and the train station-all within walking distance, along with a supermarket. Guests enjoy dining in the adjacent pub, with excellent food for both dinner and breakfast, although some have found the breakfast prices a bit high. Squirrels in the trees seen from the window add to the charm for some.

The room was spacious. It was clean. The on-site parking was ample. Finding a spot was easy and convenient.
The reception was often unmanned. I struggled to find staff when needed. Breakfast seemed expensive. I paid a significant amount for a simple order. The cost didn't quite align with what I received.

mixed feelings about this hotel

ineffective fanabsent staff
the room was excessively hot, an issue compounded by the fan's ineffectiveness. it did very little to alleviate the discomfort. additionally i observed that staff were frequently absent from reception. they were often occupied with duties in the pub, this limited their availability for hotel guests.

A Decent Hotel Experience

perfect locationspacious roomexpensive breakfastodd smell
The location was perfect and the room was spacious! I really appreciated the excellent pub just steps away. The standard of coffee in the rooms was also good.
The breakfast was very expensive. I was charged a lot for a sausage sandwich. Some of the lights didn't work which was an issue. The room also had an odd smell when I arrived.
