the location was good and easy to reach by bus.
the room was not up to expectations for the price i paid (i noticed several signs of wear, like damaged flooring and a worn bed). i generally expected more from a 4-star hotel at this price point (it needed some serious maintenance).

disappointing experience with several issues
weak pressurefaulty ac
the shower was difficult to adjust. the water temperature fluctuated unexpectedly from very hot to very cold. the water pressure was also quite weak. the air conditioning in a friend's room did not work at all, a major inconvenience.

the staff was helpful and friendly, acceptable.
I swear it took five minutes to get to my floor. the noise was also a major issue. The door had no seal, so i could hear everything happening outside the room (didn't get much sleep those nights).

I didn't love that my "premium king room" faced an interior courtyard. It felt a bit claustrophobic. the view wasn't great, mostly looking at other rooms. also, the mini-fridge wasn't very cold, so my drinks didn't stay as chilled as i'd hoped. it just wasn't quite the relaxing experience i was anticipating.
