Basic but Safe Stay

ideal locationfriendly staffextra charge
The location was ideal. It reminded me of being back home. The staff were friendly and patient. They even offered to carry my suitcase up the staircase, which I appreciated a lot! I would consider staying here again. It met my needs well enough.
I had to pay an extra charge for car parking. Though the car park was empty. So I left my car on the public road for free instead. It worked out cheaper that way.

I really liked that parking was free. The accessibility to the city was great. I walked into town in just 30 minutes. The staff were super friendly and always helpful too.
The towel rail in the bathroom was on full blast! It had no controls to turn it down, and it was the hottest day of the year. I only found one cup for making tea, even though I asked for a second one several times. Outside, I saw abandoned prams and old bike parts. I thought that looked untidy.

a very mixed stay

lack of decorationcleanliness issue
The room was a bit of a letdown. it lacked decoration. There wasn't even a mirror. the beds had no headboards, just the wall. i bumped my head a couple of times during the night. cleanliness was definitely an issue. the price was too high for such a basic room.
