The Amsterdam Central Station is a 15-minute walk. The Nieuwmarkt underground station provides direct access to the Financial District and the Convention Centre. Schiphol Airport is 20 km away. Nearby landmarks include Hermitage Amsterdam (1 km), The National Maritime Museum (1.5 km), Museum Het Rembrandthuis (0.5 km), Madame Tussauds Amsterdam (0.5 km), Artis (1.5 km), Beurs van Berlage (0.5 km) and Rijksmuseum (2 km).

The guesthouse is set in a Dutch canal house that dates back to 1660. Both guest rooms have original features of the canal house, with bright decor using vibrant colors and traditional Dutch themes of tulips and windmills. Rooms at the quiet backside of the property include free WiFi, cable TV, a seating area, free toiletries, a DVD player, and an espresso maker. They also have small fridges with beers. The large first-floor room features a black-and-white cow-patterned table with chairs.

Things to Know

Guests are kindly requested to inform the hotel of their estimated arrival time. Check-in appointments are possible from 2 PM, but luggage drop-off is available from 9 AM. The property has narrow and steep stairs, so it is not suitable for physically challenged guests. Guests are expected to respect the property and neighbors. Bringing in other pets is not allowed, as there are two cats on the premises.

From Schiphol Airport, the train to Amsterdam Central Station takes 20 minutes. From there, take the Metro to Nieuwmarkt station or a taxi for EUR 15.00. Guests can buy train tickets from yellow machines or a ticket counter at the airport. On-street parking costs EUR 7.50 per hour. Alternatively, park outside the city center at a P+R (Park & Ride) for EUR 1.00 per 24 hours if entering after 10 AM. Luggage lockers are available at the east wing of Amsterdam Central Station for EUR 7.00 (small) or EUR 10.00 (big) per 24 hours.
