the hotel's setting is fine. beautiful magnolia trees surround the hotel, romantic atmosphere). the staff greeted me warmly and were always ready with local tips. i found the location convenient, as it allowed me to easily walk to the museums i wished to visit. i also greatly appreciated the free laundry service that was offered.
i found the stairs a bit steep with luggage.

The hotel is near many nice cafes and shops. I found a bakery nearby. The trams and buses stop on the same street. It was a great walk to Vondelpark. The tram ride to the center took only five minutes.

The triple room was very spacious. It easily accommodated everyone i traveled with. there was plenty of space for luggage and moving around. i especially liked the balconies where smoking was allowed. It was convenient. also close to some good restaurants.
the entrance hall is kind of dark and the carpets are worn.
