a comfortable stay
wooden staircase friendly staff nespresso machine great location
the wooden staircase Lined with portraits was wonderful. i found nespresso machine in the room. staff were friendly and helpful to me. the hotel is close to the motorway.
breakfast was not the best because pastries were gone early and i did not get butter for toast.

the hotel has a great position on the high street. the hotel backs onto the river, which provides a beautiful backdrop. i found parking at the rear of the building which was practical.

the staff were lovely and very friendly. i found that nothing was too much trouble for them. i think the manager especially went out of his way to assist me.

the breakfast selection was ample and very good. i haddock with chips was very nice at meal on saturday. there was a good choice for breakfast this year.

the rooms are lovely and decor is very comfortable. the hotel offers little touches in the bedroom, for example, radio, pillow spray, message. bottles of water and choices of teas are also there.

great view classical music quality products dark parking bad breakfast pale toast
Our room offered such great views of the river! I liked the radio playing classical music when I arrived in the room. The bathroom was super clean I also appreciated the quality products.
The parking area seemed quite dark. Breakfast was not great, it was possibly one of the worst cooked breakfasts I have had. I am not sure if the toaster even worked because the toast was pale

great location and service
spacious rooms easy access
the rooms were spacious and of a higher standard. i also found the location provided easy access to restaurants and shops. it was easy to take a canal walk behind the hotel grounds.

friendly staff cozy atmosphere faulty heating cold draft
the staff was friendly. breakfast was good (i enjoyed the calm and cozy atmosphere).
the heating in the bathroom wasn't working. a draft came from the window, even colder.
