the Top Notch room had pleasant, clean decor with a light modern feel. lounging space was plentiful, complete with wood burners. the food in the less formal restaurant tasted very good, paired with great service.
The fire alarm went off at 1 am one night. No one mentioned this the next morning.

the breakfast had a very good selection of pastries. the room included a king size bed and separate seating area. the spa facilities had a long pool and a warm jacuzzi.
The restaurant service felt slow. some pastries seemed overcooked. there was no private area for checkout. It happened in an open hallway.

Really good Hotel Experience!

The gardens are well maintained and beautiful. The staff members were polite and eager to help. The spa facilities include a pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and a snow shower. I enjoyed using the stainless steel hot tub and lap pool. The water felt slightly saline.
The loo roll in the Hideaway Suite was horrid.

The hotel provides boots for lovely walks. It is an amazing base in the Cotswolds. There are many walks directly accessible from the hotel, really convinient. I found the surroundings to be peaceful and beautiful!

I found the breakfast service combined formal and informal elements perfectly. The Caesar salad I had for lunch in the spa area was delicious. I ate in the restaurant, I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast very much!

The Hideaway Suite has a nice lounge area. The super king bed was very comfy. The shower was fabulous and included nice toiletries. I especially loved the rainfall shower. The rooms are big. They have a large outdoor area.

The spa is fantastic. I found it very relaxing. There is a long pool for swimming, and also a warm outdoor jacuzzi. The gym is well equipped with modern machines. It has everything you need.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The spa had all necessary facilities. The food was amazing at every meal.
The staff seemed cold towards us. They completely ignored our children. Reception staff could barely smile, it seemed.
