Rooms Overview
The Ungasan Clifftop Resort features villas and one-bedroom suites with views of the Indian Ocean. Each suite is in a secluded area shared with four other suites. Villa Ambar offers hand-carved timber and ocean views from each of the five king-size bedrooms, with interconnecting suites. Villa Pawana includes a bougainvillea pathway leading to clifftop views, five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, garden view suites with outdoor showers and private terraces, and an ocean view master suite with a private plunge pool. Villa Tamarama has two swimming pools, a bar, and an oceanfront pavilion. The newly refurbished Villa Santai Sorga features an ocean-view master bedroom on the entire first floor, plantation shutters, and a media room. Villa Jamadara includes a cliff-edge infinity pool. Villa Nora has interiors and bedrooms. The One Bedroom Ocean View Suite offers views of the Indian Ocean and access to shared facilities.
Onsite Dining
The Ungasan Clifftop Resort offers a culinary experience crafted by a team with international and local knowledge. Waatu, by Chef James Viles, serves seasonal menus grilled over coals. In-villa dining is available. Sundays Beach Club offers all-day dining. Shaun Thompson has worked extensively with Chef Neil Perry, including at Melbourne's 3-Hatted Rockpool Bar & Grill. For events, Chef James Viles creates customizable menus, including 3-course set menus, banquets, live BBQ setups, and family sharing styles.
Leisure and Activities
Guests at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort have access to a gym equipped with 'Life Fitness' weight training machines, a cross trainer, a treadmill, a bike, a rowing machine, as well as free weights. The Vela Spa offers experiences. The resort can arrange private surfing lessons, ATV adventures, elephant rides, helicopter tours, and luxury vehicle tours. Pandawa Golf Course features 18 par-3 golf holes with Balinese relics and ocean views. Priority access is provided at Sundays Beach Club. Complimentary water sports are also available. Wednesdays feature Movies by the Beach at The Cliff.
Location and Transport
The Ungasan Clifftop Resort is 20 km from Ngurah Rai International. Nearby landmarks include Bukit Peninsula (4 km), Zen Bali Arts Studio and Gallery (3 km), and Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park (4.5 km). Other points of interest include Karma Kandara Private Beach (1 km) and Pantai Nunggalan (4 km). The Uluwatu Temple, is a must-visit. Padang Padang, or Labuan Sait, is protected by cliffs. Jatiluwih is known for its terraced rice fields. Mas Village is known for its woodcarvings, and Batuan Village is famous for traditional Balinese paintings.
