The Rudloe, set in Corsham near Bath, is often described as a unique and quirky hotel, with the main building resembling a museum thanks to its intriguing Gothic architecture, amazing artwork, and eclectic decor. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms and comfortable bedding, sometimes featuring mouseman furniture, plus modern shower room facilities. Really good Stay at a Quirky Gem

cozy duvetinteresting decorgreat shower
The hotel presents a unique and interesting decor throughout the main manor house. My room, located in the newer building, was generously sized, with a very comfortable bed and an cosy duvet. The shower provided great water pressure and temperature control.
The limited selection on the dinner menu posed a slight inconvenience.
Location
8/10
The hilltop location offers good bus connections to nearby towns. A short walk leads to a lovely local pub (perfect for an afternoon pint!). It is a very convenient spot.
Dining
9/10
The food was delicious in the restaurant (the fishcake was really good!). Breakfast included perfectly poached eggs and fried bread. The dining room had large potted plants on each table, giving privacy.
Facilities
8/10
There are plentiful lounges in the main house. I explored them after dinner (a nice way to unwind!). The grounds also allow for relaxed strolls.
Rooms
10/10
My room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean and very quiet at night. Touches of 'mouseman' furniture added character to the room.

Nice stay, excellent details

unique artworkcosy receptionspacious showerclear signage
I was impressed by the unique artwork exhibited throughout the hotel, The cosy reception rooms provided a relaxing, cute space! Our room had a kettle, with tea and coffee, that was very useful. The bathroom featured a spacious shower with high quality toiletries.
The lack of clear signage made finding the entrance quite difficult! Upon arrival, the garden entrance was a bit scruffy, It would be great to have more visible directions .
Facilities
9/10
The hotel includes multiple cosy reception rooms. Gardens surround the hotel, though a slight tidy up would enhance the area, It provides a pleasant space for relaxation and drinks!
Rooms
10/10
Our room included in-keeping furniture and amazing artwork. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with essential amenities. The bathroom had ornate details, alongside high-quality toiletries, Everything felt elegant and functional.
Dining
8/10
The restaurant exhibits rustic charm, accented by dimly lit candles, it is romantic. The breakfast was very nice, served in the same location! The dining experience was of excellent quality.
