The room was clean. I found ample parking available. The check in process seemed straightforward to me. The location is GREAT, perfect for country walks.
The check out time was different. The staff seemed to not honour what I had been told. The food quality did not meet the price in the restaurant.

The family who runs the hotel is lovely and cute. The food in the restaurant was excellent (i especially enjoyed the dinner). My room was clean with comfortable beds and good quality furnishings.

lovely overnight stay

the location was ideal for south downs way. our room included a bathtub, a welcome sight after all that walking. it felt so good to soak after a long day. the staff was friendly and helpful.
breakfast on sunday started way too late. this made it difficult for walkers with a long day. i needed an earlier start to make my hike.
