The Peacock room was relaxing. The bathroom was equipped with a good shower. Dinner was tasty and breakfast was equally good. The owner was very helpful .

I did notice a lengthy list of rules presented on arrival. I found the policy a bit unusual.

The breakfast start time was a bit late for early departures.

the location was ideal for south downs way. our room included a bathtub, a welcome sight after all that walking. it felt so good to soak after a long day. the staff was friendly and helpful.

breakfast on sunday started way too late. this made it difficult for walkers with a long day. i needed an earlier start to make my hike.
