Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Florence House is well-regarded for its convenient location, offering easy access to both Southsea and Portsmouth, making it ideal for exploring the area. Many guests appreciate the spacious rooms and find the breakfast to be a highlight of their stay, offering tasty and healthy options. On-site parking is available for a fee, which some guests find worthwhile as nearby street parking can be challenging; some guests have found the rooms a little stuffy in warmer weather, though. Charming Boutique Hotel Experience

friendly staff secure parking

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was excellent, providing fresh options. I especially liked the on-site parking, a secure spot very close to the entrance.

I found that the room lacked soundproofing, and noise from nearby street traffic was quite noticeable, especially early in the morning.

Dining

9/10

The breakfast featured freshly cooked meals alongside a wide variety of choices. I noticed several options. The dining area was kept very clean. It enhanced the overall breakfast experience, and I appreciated the attention to detail.
