empty bottles hotel reception
the shampoo and shower gel bottles were empty upon my arrival. the hotel staff also didn't replace them the next day. i expected a better level of service than that. there wasn't anyone to ask for replacements as the hotel lacks a reception.

Fantastic Room and Location!!!
clean room spacious room superb pressure irn bru
The room was clean and quite spacious. The shower had superb water pressure, a real treat. The room provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I found Irn Bru drinks being available in the room an unexpected bonus!
The mattress felt quite soft, though I know some people may like it.

The adjacent pub offers a Scottish breakfast. Black pudding and haggis are available. Several restaurants and breakfast spots are located nearby. The food was AMAZING!!!

friendly staff lovely decoration welcome drink
the staff was very friendly and helpful when i arrived. the room decoration was lovely (i especially liked the artwork). the pub next door provided a complimentary welcome drink, a nice touch after my journey.

the location is ideal, especially with m&s across the road (very handy for groceries). a lot of excellent cafes and stores surround the area. it is easily accessible by public transport.

Really good Stay Near Morningside
efficient staff heated floors manageable walk
I found the staff in the adjacent Canny Man pub efficient. They handled baggage with care before check-in and after check-out to accommodate a later flight. The bathroom impressed me. It featured heated floors. The bus stop to the city center is close. A manageable 45-minute walk also gets you there.
The television did not function correctly .

The room featured a large, comfortable bed and quiet surroundings, perfect for a restful night.. the room was also equipped to a high standard. The bathroom had plentiful fluffy towels, a big benefit.

This location allows easy access to bus routes into the city center, a significant advantage. Local shopping in Morningside and Bruntsfield is very accessible. I also appreciated proximity to various cafes and restaurants nearby.

floor heating convenient pub comfortable bed
the bathroom had floor heating it was a nice touch the pub next door was convenient the bed was very comfortable it helped me rest well after my travels the nearby shops were also a bonus
the room felt a bit small making it less comfortable to move around
