lovely home stay
great size comfy cottage special treat
i stayed at the large cottage double room. it was a real treat with the kitchen and living room. the size was great and comfy. i find the dog to be looked after so well, that was special.
the lighting leading to the hotel is limited. i found the drive is rough stone. its was not such a pleasant stroll wearing heels

the gardens looked good.
The staff seemed undertrained. i asked for milk for my tea and it was never replaced. It sat curdling each day. communication was poor. Nobody asked if i enjoyed my meal or stay

A Golfer's Cozy Retreat
amazing staff close parking comfortable bed
The staff were amazing. They made everything seamless. My room was close to the parking area, a real plus after long days. I really appreciated the comfortable bed and the provided Penhaligon's toiletries, they added a special touch. I sat by the roaring fire each evening with a large scotch, it was a perfect end to my day.
The water pressure in the shower was not what I expected.

a fantastic stay
tasty breakfast gorgeous gardens dining room
i stayed in the large main house double. breakfast was tasty, i ate in the dining room. the gardens were gorgeous, i strolled in the sun.
The wifi was patchy. I had trouble streaming videos.

The hotel includes well kept gardens and a library area with a fireside sitting area, where a fellow played the piano. It was wonderfully nostalgic and added charm.

my room had large, comfortable beds and scottish style decorations. the room had ample space and parking was available right in front. it was very quiet.

The staff was attentive and helpful at all times, including in the restaurant. their attentiveness helped create a positive experience, from arrival to departure. I felt welcomed and well cared for.
