Modern Comfort and Excellent Service

The bedroom featured modern décor and a very plush feel. I especially liked the walk-in shower and separate bathtub. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed a quiet night as the soundproofing worked well. Breakfast included several choices and dinner exceeded my expectations.

the decor standards were fantastic, really meeting my expectations.

The room was quite cold. I had to ask reception to turn on the heating twice. there was only one food menu, and i felt pressured to accept it. The selection was too limited. staff gave polite smiles, but the feeling was they didn't want to be there

the modern room featured air conditioning that was very welcome during a hot week. the hotel provided excellent coffee and tea facilities. i appreciated the fridge stocked with bottled water. the dog friendly room had french doors so we could easily take our dog outside.

i found no children's menu available during my lunch visit therefore we chose small portions.

the hotel provided an excellent location for visiting hadrian's wall penrith north lakes and carlisle. it was also just off the a69 making it easily accessible and minutes from the m6 so travel was simple

breakfast offered a good choice of cereals fruit and pastries. i particularly enjoyed the hot food options such as poached eggs avocado and sourdough with salmon and the quality cumberland breakfast i sampled was fantastic

the rooms were modern bright and airy creating a cheerful atmosphere. the tasteful decoration throughout the room was very pleasing. the super comfy bed and cosy bedding offered a great night of sleep i was happy
