“What struck me most is the inn's commitment to community, evidenced by the regular folk music nights-a genuinely welcoming experience. The location makes it a practical base for exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, especially for those drawn to the outdoors, though, admittedly, some aspects could use an update. It's a family-run place with heart, where the home-cooked meals and the lively beer garden stand out.”

The Drymen Inn enjoys a great location in the charming village of Drymen, close to Loch Lomond and on the West Highland Way and Rob Roy walking routes. Guests appreciate the delicious food with big portions served at the inn's pub and restaurant, where you can watch sports on TV. The option to park motorcycles on the terrace is a plus for some. Some guests have noted noise from the downstairs bar can be noticeable in the rooms. The breakfast, including vegetarian options, is excellent, with generous portions.

good dinnersmall roompublic parking
The food was quite good for dinner I guess and breakfast was included so that's alright.
The room was too small given what I paid for it I could barely move around. The shower's temperature fluctuated between freezing and scalding so I had a hard time trying to get clean. The public parking was also a couple minutes away which wasn't fun with luggage.

A Reasonable Stay

I found the room to be clean and spacious. Dinner in the bar was nice. I also enjoyed the breakfast.
The blind on the window was broken. It took some effort to wedge it shut. The television did not work properly. I could only get BBC programmes.
