I stayed two nights with a special dinner, bed, and breakfast offer. Work on my motor home in Canterbury required accommodation and I discovered this place! The staff were cute and friendly. The room and food had a very high standard.

I found the steps to the room steep and potentially difficult. I did note the hotel had other rooms available. I would advise future guests to check accessibility in advance.

The location allows for walks. And is near other establishments. The hotel is accessible by car. But public transportation is available nearby too. I found parking was available at the back of the pub.

The staff were attentive and courteous! They were helpful. One staff member gave me a ride to a party because the taxi would be 30 minutes.

Breakfast was superb. As good as a 5-star hotel. I noticed the pub provides free parking at the back! Guests enjoyed the live jazz trio on Thursday evening. It added to the atmosphere.
