Excellent Stay Above a Lively Pub

modern decorgreat water pressureconvenient locationexcessive noise
The room was clean and very well designed (I especially liked the modern decor). The shower was excellent, providing great water pressure. The location is convenient, as it allows access to local shops. I felt secure with the locked doors required to access the room.
The walls and floor allowed noise from the pub to enter the room, this made sleeping before closing hours impossible.

high tvfaulty door
the room looked nice but there were a couple of issues. the tv was placed so high on the wall and the ceiling light made it hard to watch it from one side of the bed. the pocket door to the bathroom didn't stay shut unless i locked it, so i could see into the bathroom while i was in bed, not ideal. i think this needs sorting.

I booked a room and the photos looked fine. The shower had very low water pressure. It made washing my hair difficult. The carpet seemed old and worn. It had some noticeable stains. Also? The noise from the pub below was quite loud late into the night.
