the location placed us perfectly near christmas lights that shimmered sweetly i noticed a church view from our window it was like a scene from a beloved carol i found the staff friendly and very helpful making the stay stress free

the shower was rather small for a beautiful room the water pressure was unpredictable it impacted the overall experience

i hadn't known what to expect, but this hotel was charming, right on the High Street. the room provided everything i needed, including a VERY comfy bed. indoor parking was available, A nice bonus.

the hotel location is great, right in the heart of the historic coaching town.

I found the lack of running water in my room unacceptable upon arrival.. i was moved to a different room after being told about the sister hotel. i woke up without water to shower. the room was also dusty with a fousty smell.

the staff showed me to my room it was tastefully decorated the bar had a nice atmosphere i felt at ease. my room was a good size the bed was really comfortable it had good furniture and an excellent shower room. i had a good night's sleep and a very tasty breakfast.

the check in process was frustrating you check in at the pub next door not the hotel. directions to the car park in advance would have been useful i had a long trip.
