Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Tankerville Arms is a property full of character, conveniently located for exploring Northumberland's coast and countryside, with good on-site parking. Guests often appreciate the spacious and comfortable rooms, and many traveling with dogs find it very welcoming, even offering a breakfast sausage for the dog. The breakfast is often praised, and the evening meals, particularly the garlic and thyme chicken, come in plentiful portions; however, some guests have noted that the decor appears dated and could use some updating.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were larger than expected.
The building needs a makeover with old pictures still hanging, seemingly since forever. The bedroom floorboards creak loudly. the bar's carpeting looked worn. There were no small packets of biscuits provided with the tea and coffee facilities.
