the staff were really friendly, they let me check in early and i really appreciated that! i found the on-site parking convenient, it made things so much easier.
the wash hand basin tap wasn't functioning correctly and that was a bummer. the shower had a very weak flow of water, a bit disappointing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were larger than expected.
The building needs a makeover with old pictures still hanging, seemingly since forever. The bedroom floorboards creak loudly. the bar's carpeting looked worn. There were no small packets of biscuits provided with the tea and coffee facilities.

the on-site parking was convenient. the breakfast was very good, as was the evening meal the previous night, despite their chef being sick and they had to find a substitute.

The staff were excellent and very accommodating . Breakfast was both well cooked and quite plentiful. I had a lovely and equally plentiful evening meal. This hotel is dog-friendly and has a large area to the rear for exercising my dog.
