The Buccleuch Arms Hotel provides rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi and an LCD Freeview TV. Rooms also include tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms include free toiletries. For an extra £10 each night, guests can upgrade to a king size room. Check-in time is from 2:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM unless a prior arrangement has been made.
Dining at The Buccleuch
The Blue Coo Bistrot provides meals made with local and seasonal produce. The menu varies. The bar and bistrot are open for bookings. The hotel is known for its steaks and game, featuring pigeon, roe venison, partridge, grouse, or pheasant in season on the menu. Breakfast includes a full Scottish breakfast or lighter options, along with morning coffee and homemade scones. While things are still returning to normal we currently no longer serve lunches Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Lunches Thursday, Friday & Saturday 12 - 2pm Sunday Lunch 12 - 3pm 5pm - 7.30pm Dinner Monday to Saturday 5.00pm - 8.00pm. Monday to Wednesday 2.00pm until 11.00pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday Midday - Midnight Sunday 12 - 10.30pm. There is also a two course Sunday night deal for £130.
Leisure and Activities
The Buccleuch Arms provides options for biking and cycling breaks in the Scottish Borders. Kelso Racecourse holds regular meetings between October and May. Torwoodlee Golf Club is also nearby. Salmon and trout fishing is available on the River Tweed, from February 1st to November 30th with arrangements made in advance. There is live rugby available in the Salmon Room on big screens. St Cuthbert's Way passes through St Boswells, and the Southern Upland Way, Borders Abbeys Way, the Eildon Hills, Dryburgh Abbey to Scott's View offer walking routes of varying distances.
