charming stay in a lovely building
lovely gardenscute staffhelpful staff
i stayed in a building holding sentimental value. it has lovely gardens and is decorated to a high standard. i appreciated the short walk to the beautiful local park and vibrant town centre. the staff were cute, very helpful and polite. i also enjoyed the lovely resident dogs.
the hotel website had outdated information, a small inconvenience.

the building features beautiful grounds perfect for a relaxed time and the hotel had resident dogs, friendly wee things and very cute to the guests. the hotel offers enclosed paddocks, a well-stocked bar, and comfortable residents areas.

breakfast was enjoyable. the staff was happy to bring extra toast if wanted. breakfast was superb and i recommend the porridge. the staff member arranged for us to have a meal in a dog friendly local pub.

the staff was very friendly. they went out of their way to help us. the staff member on reception was very helpful. the staff were lovely and very cute and polite, we felt very comfortable.

the accommodation was spacious and clean, very comfortable. the room was spotlessly clean. lodges are specifically designed to enable dogs to stay, they are spacious, beautifully decorated with tasteful design, and everything was super clean clean.

the gardens were good. it looked alright.
the towels provided were laughably small. the scrambled eggs tasted suspiciously of rubber, perhaps they were going for a new textural experience. there was a strange man at reception. he was downright unfriendly and acted like i'd personally offended him by checking in.

the building is fine, showcasing high ceilings and elegant cornices in many areas. the gardens were beautiful, with a designated area perfect for dogs. our room felt large, elegant, and very comfortable (i slept like a log!). parking was plentiful right in front.
The tv in our room sometimes asked for a pin. I just decided not to watch it.

the staff was friendly and accommodating, recommending dog-friendly restaurants when we arrived late. they even showed us a secure paddock at the front of the gardens for our dog to play in. i felt really taken care of.

breakfast offered a good choice of options. the coffee was excellent, and i found the breakfast service prompt. i really enjoyed the freshly prepared options available each morning.

the breakfast was acceptable with a decent variety of options.
The room was not clean upon arrival. I found hairs in the bathroom and dust on several surfaces, unacceptable. the noise levels were also a problem. I could clearly hear conversations from adjacent rooms late into the night. this.
