Location and Transportation
Hôtel Suisse is in Downtown Geneva, across from Geneva Central Station and 5 km from Geneva Cointrin Airport. Cornavin offers shops. Public transportation is 50 meters from the property with buses, trams, and trains to parts of the city. All trains to and from Genève-Aéroport station stop at Geneva-Cornavin station, a 7-minute ride. Bus routes 5 and 10 stop at Gare Cornavin, a 20-minute ride from the airport. By car, take motorway A40, continue through the Tunnel de Chamoise (2669m) and Tunnel de Saint-Germain (1217 m), pass Bellegarde-sur-Valserine, take A401 to Switzerland, pass Carouge (GE), and enter Geneva. Paid public parking is available at Parking Cornavin (level -2, -3); inquire at reception for a preferential rate of 26 CHF for 24 hours (maximum height 2m).
