Simple and Clean Stay

The location proved convenient, it allowed easy access to local attractions. The 24/7 telephone support was very useful, I found the staff to be friendly. The room provided all basic amenities needed. I appreciated the cleanliness.

I experienced difficulty finding a comfortable temperature in the room. Large windows and blinds made the room cold during the night. The bathroom window had some condensation, and the shower temperature was not adjustable to be very hot.

coffee machine welcome sweets high ceilings

the communal kitchenette had a really good coffee machine. i loved the sweets they left in my room. the high ceilings added a spacious feel. the late check-out they allowed me was a lifesaver, because it was raining so hard outside!

The wooden floors made the room quite echoey. This was a small issue, but still noticeable.

Acceptable Stay with a Few Disappointments

missing kettle unpleasant water

The hotel's proximity to a festival in Steyning was convenient , with only a ten-minute walk into the town center.

I was disappointed that there was no kettle in the room, and the hot water from the coffee machine was not a pleasant substitute for a tea drinker. The hotel would also benefit from a fridge . I was too hot and could not find instructions for the air conditioning.

Charming Find with Great Location!

I found the location convenient to the station and the town center. The self-check-in was simple. I received the code promptly. The hospitality room was an absolute gift, I enjoyed the great coffee machine!

The room decor was superb. The bed was not comfortable, though, it was two singles pulled together with no topper. I kept rolling into the join in the middle.

The room was super clean with tasteful decoration and lovely touches, such as the sweets and pillow spray provided. The beds are very comfortable and the bedsheets and towels were immaculate.

Excellent stay

I appreciated the great position. The rooms accommodate my family comfortably. I liked the guest service area a lot. The rooms had good use of space.

I noticed that the cistern in bathroom was leaking causing a large puddle on the floor. The bathroom had a smell of waste water. One of the reading lights on the bed didn't work.

The location worked well for my needs. Bars are a short walk from the location. Restaurants are also a short walk from here. It's ideal if you need to get around.

The staff I met were friendly. Check in was easy and quick. Check out was also simple. They allocated rooms next to each other for my family, something I am grateful for.

The building is old but characterful. The button system for check in is new. The barista machine is excellent and easy to use. I like that they allow guests to safely store bicycles.
