Michael, the host, helped me a lot with my ferry reservation. The hotel's lounge had comfy furniture and a big tv, also a reasonably priced bar open til 9 pm. My room was super clean, including everything necessary for my stay. The bed and pillows allowed me to have a deep sleep.

The room felt a little small for my liking. Still, it provided everything I needed.

The location is great. The town centre is nearby. passenger ferry terminals and the local bus network are easily accessible. It makes getting around so convenient, indeed.

The "double room compact bathroom" was indeed compact. I suspect i've had larger airplane bathrooms. the shower barely trickled, and the fluctuating temperature made it a game of hot-and-cold that i didn't sign up for. also, the walls are paper thin. I could hear every conversation and cough from the neighboring rooms... good!

the front door was locked when i arrived, even though i had phoned ahead and they said reception would be open until 10 pm. the furniture seemed dated and not coordinated in the bedroom. the bedside lockers were especially worn, broken, and rather nasty looking
