“Oldfields House charms with its Victorian bones and Bath stone facade, but its true appeal lies in the prize-winning gardens. A crackling fire in the lounge and a well-stocked bar invite lingering evenings after exploring the nearby city center. I think the complimentary breakfast and local guide round out a stay that is both comfortable and conveniently positioned for discovering Bath's attractions.”

The full English breakfast was delicious. I appreciated the beautiful dining room, with lovely views. The location worked well. It was only a 10-15 minute walk from the centre. The room was warm. It had nice decorations. The staff offered a friendly welcome. We received an upgrade to the best room. This was a nice surprise, with a balcony.

The staff were very friendly, especially at reception. My room was quiet and it faced the gardens. Breakfast had a good selection of food (I especially enjoyed the pastries).
The car park felt quite small, I needed help to maneuver (the spaces are very tight). I found the bathroom taps difficult to use, I think they're quite old. My room lacked air conditioning and it was a very hot day.
