the location felt central, i think. a short stroll took me to nearby shops and the cathedral was beautiful to see. the breakfast was a buffet that included a reasonable selection and the double bed room was presented very well.
The window had only a rotten piece of wood that had fallen off it to hold it open. the shower only did scalding water. No adjustment worked. it was dissapointing for the price.

i found the staff very helpful with directions and local information. the building itself is quite historic with unique architecture. i liked that it was close to shops and restaurants as well. the central location made exploring very convenient.
the bathroom window in my room did not completely shut. i could hear outside noises clearly which affected my sleep.

The location was central, I will give it that.
The room was really not good. The window looked as if someone tried to break in. It was boarded up. the furniture seemed like it came from a charity shop. It was stained and old.

I found a couple of things disappointing . first, the breakfast was not great. the coffee machine was broken one morning, and the tea bags were not refilled. secondly, my room was quite noisy. it was hard to relax because i could hear noise from the courtyard below. The people there seemed very drunk in the evenings.

i really admired the period design and feel of both the venue and my room. friendly staff members were always available to assist. discovering it was featured on 'most haunted' added to the charm, such A unique aspect. the location was very accessible.
a slight issue was the curtains did not pull FULLY across the window.
